Product Lead — Experience, Quality & Retention
You will own the question: is Serus actually good enough that people want to keep using it?
Anon AI Labs, the company behind Serus. Location: San Francisco preferred. Exceptional candidates elsewhere considered.
About us
Anon AI Labs builds Serus, a personal AI product for security, privacy, intelligence and protection. Most of what we have is in stealth.
We’re hiring someone who will be relentless about making the product excellent.
The role
You will use the product constantly, test real customer journeys, speak with users and follow problems through to a fix. You’ll work directly with the founders, designers and engineers to turn powerful technology into an experience that feels clear, useful and polished.
You should have strong product taste, care deeply about details and be comfortable pushing for a higher standard. Your work should show up in better activation, stronger retention and customers who get lasting value from Serus.
What you’ll do
- Use and test the product extensively, including new features before release.
- Examine complete customer journeys, from onboarding to repeated use.
- Find confusing behavior, unreliable results and moments where the experience falls short.
- Gather feedback through customer conversations, support issues and observed usage.
- Turn findings into clear priorities and work with the team until improvements ship.
- Define and uphold release-quality standards.
- Measure activation, repeat usage, retention and churn.
- Test whether changes improve the experience and customer outcomes.
- Help shape features so their value is obvious and their behavior makes sense.
- Keep product decisions grounded in what customers need and experience.
What we’re looking for
- Excellent product judgment and close attention to detail.
- A hands-on habit of testing products and following through on problems.
- Experience improving a customer-facing software product.
- Comfort using analytics, experiments and qualitative feedback together.
- The ability to work effectively with designers and engineers.
- Enough technical understanding to make good decisions about AI product behavior.
- Evidence that you have helped make a product more useful, easier to use or worth returning to.
- Former founders and builders with strong product instincts are encouraged to apply.
