How to remove yourself from First Advantage Corporation
Also known as First Advantage
First Advantage screens people for employers, so there's no public profile to remove. Its FAQ lets you email a request to opt out of certain databases it owns: webprivacy@fadv.com if you live in the United States. Some requests need employer authorization or are barred by law.
On average, Serus sends about 184 removal requests per person, 89% of them to data brokers, so expect First Advantage Corporation to be one of many.

Watch out for
- An opt-out isn't guaranteed. First Advantage says that in some cases the law prohibits it from allowing one.
- It screens people on behalf of employers and landlords, so reports it already produced for them aren't undone by an opt-out.
- Correcting a wrong report is a separate process, covered in the same FAQ.

Its FAQ says yes for certain First Advantage-owned databases, with the caveat that some requests need your employer's authorization or are barred by law.
Which email do I use?
webprivacy@fadv.com, if you live in the United States. Other regions have their own addresses, listed in the FAQ.
