- 1
Open the data-sharing page
- 2
Log in if you have an account
Poshmark says to log in to opt out. That ties the choice to your account.
- 3
Or select "Yes" without an account

- 4
Repeat on each browser and device

Watch out for
- This opt-out covers sale and sharing for targeted advertising. You will still see Poshmark ads, just less relevant ones, according to the page.
- It isn't an account deletion or a request to delete the data Poshmark already holds.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
Canada: PIPEDA. You can withdraw your consent to a company using your personal information and ask it to correct what it holds. If it doesn't respond, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
