How to remove yourself from NEXXA
Also known as Nexxa Group, Inc.
Nexxa Group, a B2B marketing data company, has a consumer opt-out form that sends a confirmation email you must answer. No email address? Call (800) 566-1895. Opt-outs sent by plain email aren't processed.
On average, Serus sends about 184 removal requests per person, 89% of them to data brokers, so expect NEXXA to be one of many.

How to opt out of NEXXA
- 1
Open Nexxa's consumer opt-out page
It's at nexxagroup.com/corporate-overview/consumer-opt-out. Make sure it's Nexxa Group you want: nexxa.ai is a different company.
- 2
Fill in the Consumer Opt Out Request form
A valid email address is required.
- 3
Answer the confirmation email
Nexxa says your request is processed only after you respond to the confirmation email it sends, so watch your spam folder.
- 4
No email? Phone instead
Call 800-566-1895 to opt out by phone.
Watch out for
- Nexxa says opt-out requests sent by email are not processed. Use the form or the phone line.
- The opt-out doesn't pull back data already given to marketers before your request.
- A request filed for someone else still needs that person's valid email address.

Does it come back?
Nexxa doesn't publish a relisting policy. It says the form is only for removing you from its marketing data products, so repeat the request if marketing mail still arrives.
Your rights
Nexxa is a registered data broker, so state deletion rights may also apply where you live.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
