How to remove yourself from PwC
Also known as PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP
PwC isn't a people-search site. It buys data from third-party providers to build aggregate insights for its services, and you can ask to be left out of that internal database by form or by calling 1-888-438-4427. It needs your name, email address and zip code.
On average, Serus sends about 184 removal requests per person, 89% of them to data brokers, so expect PwC to be one of many.

PwC doesn't say how long removal takes. Under California law, a business has 45 days to act on a deletion request (15 business days for an opt-out of sale).
How to opt out of PwC
- 1
Open PwC's opt-out notice
The Notice of Right to Opt Out links to the request form.
- 2
Submit the request form
PwC asks first for your first and last name, email address and zip code.
- 3
Call instead if you like
The same request can be made on 1-888-438-4427.
- 4
Block the web trackers separately
That's a different thing: turn off optional cookies in PwC's Cookie Settings, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. PwC says it honors GPC, unless you accept all cookies, which overrides it.
Watch out for
- PwC says it doesn't sell or share personal information beyond the third-party tools on its website, so the opt-out covers the internal database, not a sale.
- Accepting all cookies overrides a GPC signal you've already set.

Your rights
PwC appears on the California data broker registry as PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. An authorized agent can file for you with signed permission from you.
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
