How to remove yourself from Mogean
Mogean sells location and mobile-ad data, and it takes opt-outs by email only. Send your mobile advertising ID to info@mogean.com or privacy@mogean.com and it goes onto a suppression list. No form. No fee is mentioned either.
On average, Serus sends about 184 removal requests per person, 89% of them to data brokers, so expect Mogean to be one of many.

Mogean doesn't say how long removal takes. Under California law, a business has 45 days to act on a deletion request (15 business days for an opt-out of sale).
How to opt out of Mogean
- 1
Find your mobile advertising ID
Mogean's opt-out is keyed to the ID on your phone, not your name. It usually sits in the ad settings under privacy, where you can copy it.
- 2
Email it to Mogean
Write to info@mogean.com or privacy@mogean.com with the ID in the message. Mogean's opt-out page names both addresses for this.
- 3
Let the daily run pick it up
Mogean says a received ID is added to its deletion and suppression list and handled through a daily processing pipeline. After that run the ID is excluded from its Exposure Measurement services.

Ask about the rest
Want to know what Mogean holds about you? Email info@mogean.com. That address also handles corrections and deletions of a record in its product data, which is a different thing from the ID opt-out.
Watch out for
- An ID belongs to a single device. A phone plus a tablet means two opt-outs.
- Reset your advertising ID and the new one isn't covered by the old request.
- Marketing email is a separate opt-out. Mogean says it stops promptly, no later than 10 business days after you unsubscribe.
- Bought something in Mogean's store? That has its own opt-out page.

Does it come back?
Mogean doesn't publish a relisting policy. Its suppression list is keyed to the advertising ID, so a reset ID looks like a new device. Re-send the new one if you reset.
Your rights
California: CCPA. If you live in California, the CCPA lets you ask a business to delete the personal information it holds about you and to stop selling or sharing it. Businesses generally have 45 days to respond.
California: the Delete Act. Data brokers that hold information on Californians must register with the state. California residents can use DROP, the state's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, to send one deletion request to every registered broker at once.
Other US states. Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and a growing list of other states give residents a similar right to delete. Vermont, Texas and Oregon also make data brokers register with the state. Where no state law applies, the broker's own opt-out above still works for most people.
